Maharashtra Ladki Bahin Yojana: There is good news for lakhs of Ladli sisters in Maharashtra. State Minister Aditi Tatkare has announced that the seventh installment of the month of January will be deposited in the accounts of the beneficiaries before January 26.
Aditi Tatkare said, “We are trying to give the benefit of the month of January before 26 January. A budget of Rs 3,690 crore has been set for this. Steps will also be taken to give more benefits to women in the budget of the upcoming financial year.
She also told that the scheme is also being extended for the month of February. So far, 2.46 crore women have got the benefit of Ladki Bahin Yojana, and there were complaints of duplication by some women, but it will not make much difference.
Beneficiaries get Rs 1500
The Maharashtra government gives an amount of Rs 1500 to the beneficiaries under the Ladli Bahan Yojana. So that their financial condition can improve. So far, the government has released the 6th installment of the month of December under this scheme.
The scheme is for women from 21 to 65 years
The benefit of Ladli Bahan Yojana is available to women from 21 to 65 years. The government appealed to the beneficiaries It is important that they update their bank account information on time so that they do not face any technical problems.
This scheme will start from July 2024
To empower women economically, the Maharashtra government has started this scheme from July 2024. So far, about two and a quarter crore beneficiaries have benefited from it.
