Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana has been launched by the state government. 1500 rupees per month will be given to the eligible women of Maharashtra through this scheme by the state government. According to this scheme, Maharashtra government has given 3 thousand rupees for the month of July and August. Women who have applied in August. They will be paid the scheme money on 31st August. The program in this regard will be held in Nagpur. Against this backdrop, the Maharashtra government has decided to expand the scope of the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana by revising it. A government decision has been issued in this regard.
According to the government decision of the Women and Child Development Department of the State Government, it has been decided to use 1 percent of the 3 percent of the funds reserved for the Women and Child Empowerment Scheme in the District Annual Plan for the Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana. This decision will be applicable only for the financial year 2024-25.
What is said in the government decision?
31st January 2022 of the Department of Women and Child Development to meet the cost of additional manpower at Taluka/Ward/District level for wide publicity and publicity of the scheme “Chief Minister-Majhi Ladki Baheen”, scrutiny/scrutiny of applications received, resolution of technical difficulties etc. 2020/Q,No,131/ Work-2 under the District Annual Plan (General) 1% of the 3 percent funds reserved for the scheme “Women and Child Empowerment” to the Women and Child Development Department through the Collector concerned through the Collector. Expenditure is being approved for the scheme “Chief Minister-My Beloved Sister” in the district. Also, the remaining 2 percent of the funds should be spent as per the provisions of the government decision in reference number 1. The said recognition will be for the financial year 2024-25 only”.
When will those who applied in August get the money?
In Maharashtra, 1 crore 8 lakh eligible women who applied in the month of July have been given three thousand rupees for the month of July and August. 45 to 50 lakh women who applied in August will be given three thousand rupees on August 31. Women and Child Development Minister Aditi Tatkare said that the state level program in this regard will be held in Nagpur.
Meanwhile, the state government had made the women of the family whose income is less than two and a half lakh rupees eligible to benefit from this scheme.
